Food Truck Fest is back at Columbus Commons Sept. 28

14 months ago, it was the kind of idea that came up too many times to be ignored. Friends, foodies, buddies and bands, Mayor Coleman and Franklin County Commissioner John O’Grady – everybody wanted a Food Truck Festival in Columbus! Well now we’ve done it and we’re pumped to do it again.
If there’s anything this town knows it is food. We love eating and we all love the new spaces in Downtown Columbus. The Columbus Food Truck and Cart Festival was born at Columbus Commons in August 2011, and this Friday, Sept. 28, we’re coming back for the third time and thrilled that each event gets better than the last.
Good food and good friends, that’s what it is all about. We’ll have great local bands playing and chefs cooking. Homegrown cuisines will cross international borders and sneak in unexpected flavor combos, while it helps new businesses and entrepreneurs test out their ideas. Tatoheads, The Burrito Bus, Street Thyme and Greenie Meanie are among my favorite locals that will be at Friday’s fest, along with 32 other great Gourmet Food Trucks and Carts. We look forward to serving you on Sept. 28 from noon-9 p.m.
